Okay I didn’t know the last one the list; I had to look it up. Krakow, Poland reminds me of Prague (number 4 on the list). I really enjoyed Prague; maybe I need to add Krakow to me list of cities to see.
Interesting London, England was not on this list. I wonder what the criterion was for selecting these cities. I have been to #4 and #6 and I can agree they are a must to go see. The three Italy cities and Barcelona are on my list for my next trip to Europe.
It looks like it is a four-hour drive to Salzburg, Austria from Venice, so I may have to add those two cities from Austria to my list. The train system in Europe is fabulous, so by train it is probably even faster and easier then driving.
As they say once you get to Europe it is pretty easy to get around. There are great rail passes and “cheap” airlines that specialize in Europe.
My next trip will actually be to New York City, which is amazing too. Hopefully we will be going in September.
Europe will maybe be next summer – 2012. If you are planning a trip to Europe, be sure to look at the cities on the top 10 list. There are good reasons they are listed. Enjoy your planning.
